Accreditation & Licensure
Coastal Carolina Hospital is licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and is accredited by the Joint Commission. CCH completed and earned its JCAHO accreditation for its Laboratory in July 2005, and received hospital-wide accreditation in November 2005. Additionally, the hospital's pharmacy has its Controlled Substance Registration Certification. CCH’s rehabilitation unit is certified by CMS. The hospital is also approved for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
