CEO's Message

As a hospital, our mission is simple — to provide excellent healthcare to our community and those we serve. This is why we volunteered to be certified by the Joint Commission within our first year of operation, and why we are proud that we continue to have the highest overall patient satisfaction scores within our hospital family. But most of all we are proud that because of our presence in the community, Bluffton, Sun City, Hardeeville, Ridgeland and places in between now have convenient access to a number of services including emergency, diagnostic, acute medical and rehabilitative care.

To date, we have provided care for over 40,000 patients. While a mission statement says a lot about what you do, our mission statement has two parts because we strongly feel how we carry out our mission is just as important as the care we provide. Since opening in November 2004, we have worked hard to fulfill this promise and have been committed to providing value to our community by developing key partnerships, participating in local events and sponsoring a number of worthwhile health-related initiatives. In return, your support has been instrumental in shaping the services we offer and will continue to shape our future growth.

As more physicians representing a growing range of specialties join our medical staff, we are able to expand the number of services we offer locally. Our ability to build new relationships within the community, recruit new physicians, add more specialized equipment, and expand our services are active symbols of our commitment to providing for the healthcare needs of the communities we serve. This commitment to your family’s health means that the care you need is at your service...right where you live!
